Hobbit Day is here again. This year we are going low-key in our menu for celebrating the birthday of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins. Hobbit feasts can become very time consuming, and while some hobbits may have that kind of leisurely time, I do not have that this year. I made my first leather waist belt for my lady to wear at the Texas Renaissance Festival. This was my first attempt that I thought went well. I make a fatal error and and as result killed the seasoning, or what I thought was the seasoning on my cast iron skillet.
